How brightly nature
Shines this morning!
See the glowing sun!
Hear the fields sing!
The fragrant buds burst From each green frond! A thousand bushes Resound with song!
And joy and wonder Streams from each breast. Oh Earth! Fairest Sun! My heart won't rest!
Loveliest of loves! Soft and golden, Like morning cloudlets On a mountain.
You renew each field With veils of mist. And your morning dew Leaves each field blessed.
Know that I cherish You, lovely maid! I see by your eyes, Such love can't fade.
As the sweet skylark Warbles and flies, As springtime roses Welcome blue skies,
So do I love you With my whole heart! The one who inspires Youth, joy and art;
